i would really give this item a 2.5 star review but that isnt a choice. at first, i was so excited for this thing to come but it took so long to get here i almost forgot about it. i was excited that it wasnt plastic like some of the other jumpy seats out there and i love that it is safer for my baby to sit in than the crotch suspending ones. i was really disappointed this seat has plastic too, and its right in their face! you can notice by looking in the item picture that if the baby looks straight ahead, the front bungees are right in his face. also, its really not impossible, but its not easy either, to get the baby in and out of the seat with just one adult. the sewing quality is great but its $100+ (after shipping)!! if i had seen this thing in person first i dont think i would have spent that much on a flap of nylon and some bungee cords. maybe i would have... but only because there isnt another seat on the market (that i could find) that supports the baby's hips and doesnt have a ton of plastic besides the HABA Airy Fairy swing, and that one is $60+ more than this one. i thought that swing was too large for my baby but it looks like it is MUCH higher quality. maybe i would give this item a higher rating if it had a lower price and the shipping was faster but in reality, even if those things were different i still would only be moderately satisfied. i should note too, my baby does enjoy this swing and once she is in and jumping i like it more too.

The description did not include much info on how this exerciser can be installed onto doorframe or ceiling. When I received it, I realized that a bolt needs to be put into the frame or ceiling. I'm not wanting to deface my home, so I returned this! Also, my concern with putting this into the doorframe... the bolt will prevent the door from closing, so its really inconvenient if you ask me. Way too much of a hassle!

Our 6 month old loves this bouncer- once he is actually IN it. It's difficult to open it and get him in easily...you can't just "drop" him in with the seat closed, it needs to be unsnapped to allow to put him inside, then snapped around him. If he is in a good mood, this is okay, although annoying. But if he is fussy, the action of holding him while he squirms around and trying to snap him in is more effort than it's worth. If this was easier to load him into and out of, I would give it 5 stars. Like I said, once he is in he LOVES it. We've found it to be sturdy and secure.
